A benefit for every public UK Fire and Rescue Service being an NFCC Professional Partner means all FRS employees have access to our online forums, which bring networks of peers together virtually.
We are now using Workplace, which is more user-friendly and documents are easier to share and locate. It is also available via mobile devices and tablets via an app, as well as being available from your desktop.
How do I join a Workplace group?
In order to join a group you must be an employee of a public UK FRS. Depending on your job role or area of work in your service, there could be one or more groups that would be helpful for you to join.
In order to access the system please visit Workplace to register for a Workplace account using your FRS email address. Please make sure you take a look at NFCC's terms and conditions.
When creating your account, you must use your full name and include your FRS and job title. Failure to include your job title may mean that you are not accepted into some of the groups.
Once a member of Workplace, you can request access to other groups by viewing the list of groups available to you. To locate all groups available, please click on 'Groups' (located underneath 'Explore' on the left hand side of your home screen) and select the 'All Groups' tab.
If another member of your fire service is in a group it will appear in your list of available groups. If a group appears in the list below but does not appear as an option under 'All Groups' tab, then it means that no one else from your fire service has yet joined the group. Please send us a request to join via email at NFCC Support Hub.
Please note that some groups are open to everyone but others might require permission from a NFCC lead to join so there might be a small delay in your access request being accepted.
Below is a list of some of the NFCC groups created so far and that are available for practitioners to join, if they are working within an appropriate area in their FRS.
There is a step-by-step guide to signing up to Workplace.

Why is the group I want access to not listed?
If a group is not listed above it is because access is limited to members of the specific group only e.g 'Committee Groups'. Unfortunately unless you are a member of the group, we will not be able to provide access.
How can I set up a new Workplace group?
If you feel that there is a requirement for a new group, please complete a request form and return to the NFCC Support Hub. the request will be considered and authorised by the NFCC lead for the area the group would fall under.
