Deputy Chief Fire Officer - County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service (REF: DCFO: CDDFRS)

County Durham and Darlington Combined Fire Authority is seeking to appoint an ambitious and forward-thinking individual with evidence of senior level accomplishment to the position of Deputy Chief Fire Officer.

The Authority is specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate the potential to become a Chief Fire Officer and can ensure the provision of a professional, innovative and effective fire and rescue service in accordance with all statutory and legal duties to ensure the safety and well-being of our local communities.

Candidates must be operating at competent Area Manager level (or above) and have comprehensive experience of commanding operational incidents. You will need a degree level qualification in an appropriate discipline, or demonstrable intellectual ability.
