An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Manager B – Service Delivery position in Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS).

Salary: £46,254 - £51,275 per annum plus 20% flexi duty allowance

Location: Various in Berkshire

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of prevention, protection, response and resilience activities within their hub. They will be responsible for the management and reduction of risk within their geographical area and oversee the implementation of the local safety plan. The post holder will be responsible for the effective performance management and supervision of their hub to ensure the delivery of the Fire Authority’s Vision, Strategic Commitments, Corporate Plan and Integrated Risk Management Plan.

Applicants will be highly motivated competent Station Managers who are open to change and are looking for an opportunity to lead and develop within RBFRS.

We have 18 stations covering an area of around 125,914 hectares, from Slough and Langley in the east along the M4 corridor to Lambourn and Newbury in the west. We employ more than 600 staff serving a population of approximately 860,000 people.
