Sector Improvement Seminar - Inspection

6th September 2018 at West Midlands Fire Service HQ

Following on from the success of our last seminar we will be holding a sector improvement seminar on 6th September at West Midlands Fire Service HQ to provide an opportunity for services to come together to consider how we individually as services and collectively as a sector meet the challenge to reform and improve with a particular focus on inspection readiness. This seminar will be ideal for those services who are still to be inspected as they will hear the experiences of those services who have recently been inspected.

The seminar will cover the following areas:

  • HMICFRS session
  • FRS perspectives – services who have been through their inspection share their experiences
  • The role of professional standards in improvement and inspection
  • To explain/launch the new Sector Support (consultancy) model from the LGA
  • Our strategic approach to R & D
  • The revised Equality Improvement Framework

There is a small charge of £75 per person to attend this seminar to cover catering, venue and administration costs.

Event sponsorship

There are a number of Associate Members who support NFCC events.

If you would like the opportunity to raise the profile of your organisation in the fire and rescue sector, CSL offers event sponsorship opportunities which provide an excellent platform for engaging with senior leaders and key decision makers in the sector.

Whether you’re looking to engage with Operational Professionals, HR Managers, Community Safety Officers or Heads of ICT, we can provide an effective way for you to connect with your target market, build your brand in the sector and secure new contacts.

With most events running over two days, you will also be able to network with our delegates over lunch or an evening drinks reception and dinner. This opportunity is always well received and many welcome the chance to interact in a more relaxed environment.

We have a range of sponsorship options for our events with the highest package offering you the opportunity to speak to delegates as part of the conference agenda. Packages can be offered to include branding opportunities, delegate pack inserts, table top exhibitions and online advertising. We are always happy to discuss your needs and make the necessary arrangements to help you get the most out of your sponsorship.

If you would like to find out more about sponsorship or find out which events we’re currently planning for, please contact Hollie Tell, Events Manager by emailing
