Have you got what it takes for next year's Firefighter Challenge?

 Do you have what it takes it get involved in next year’s British Firefighter Challenge?

If so, registration opens on January 1st 2019, and you can kick-start your new year by registering to take part!

The British Firefighter Challenge is organised by firefighters, for firefighters. The 2019 competition will take place on July 27th and 28th.

  It is an international challenge, which takes place annually and pushes firefighters to their limits. It provides a day of entertainment for spectators, while raising funds for the Firefighters Charity. firefighter challenge 2019

The challenges include: stair ascent, hose haul, stair descent, Keiser force, hose drag, hose make-up, container carry and casualty rescue. More details about each of the challenges are available on the British Firefighter Challenge website. There are a number of rules and penalties for those taking part in the event and competitors are all battling for a place on the leaderboard.

Last year, NFCC Chair Roy Wilsher took part in the competition and is planning to compete once again in 2019. Roy is encouraging fire services across the country to put together teams and join him in the competition, showing their commitment to firefighter fitness in this gruelling yet rewarding competition.
