Should we be cancelling events and external meetings?

NFCC’s advice is to postpone or cancel what you determine as non-essential meetings or events. This should also take into account where people may be travelling from different geographical areas where there is little knowledge of impacted/infected areas, or the age of people attending.

You should also take into account how people out of service could impact on your business continuity plans if there is a breakout following an event. Currently there is no official advice as to what constitutes an event or meeting, with reference to the number of attendees. 

This is something for your service to determine, in line with your internal plans and knowledge.
